Next year I think Peyton can ride in the parade
by herself

This is what I found this morning when I woke up.
Silly Ruby.

Last night at the clinic they brought steers in.

Accidents Happen...

This afternoon Peyton got bucked off and then
kicked in the face...

Obviously it wasn't that bad...thank god...it
could have been a lot worse :s

Well, this post is about horses - what else? Friday
night, Aimee and Maggie had their 4th out of 6 ranch
horse clinics in Darlingford. Makes for a very early
morning...at 6:30 am on Sat, we were bathing the horses
for the Gretna parade (Note for next year: this is
unneccesary and over-the-top...1hr bathing for a 10 min
parade = NOT WORTH IT!!)

Maggie putting glitter and sparkles on Scarlett.

Sunday we headed off to Dacotah for riding lessons.
Peyton fell asleep near Wpg. I love how she has to
wear her helmet on the way to lessons!

The twins :)

Aimee on Quinn (aka: New Horse). Quinn has been
at Sarah's for 2 weeks now and this is her 4th time
under saddle!! Sarah has her walking, trotting,
loping, stopping, backing up and even ground tied - AMAZING!!!
Next week she promises flying lead changes!
It will be worth every penny, I'm sure :)

Aimee and Maggie practicing their ranch horse
exercises. Aimee and Babe are chasing Maggie
and Scarlett.

Peyton has been doing great, although she does
get frustrated quite easily when Skippy won't
go as fast as she'd like.

The girls have been great. They help get Skippy
saddled up for her and keep an eye on her in
the ring.

Trying to make Skippy run.

That's better, but still only a trot.

Finally a lope! We're beginning to see that Peyton's
future with horses will probably include speed
and jumping, based on what she's already trying to
accomplish with little Skippy.

And of course, Ruby and Cleo, play fighting.
