GONE FISHIN'

With all the rain the other week, our pasture flooded.

Again. Only this time we noticed fish jumping out

of the shallow water, where our horses usually graze.

Dozens and dozens of HUGE fish! Not that exciting,

as they were only stinky Carp, but still kinda neat. We

waded in the shallow water and mom and Ruby tried

to catch them. But the fish were too slippery, so no

luck.

By the time Curt got home from work that day,

we had scared most of them back into the creek.

And I still say, some of those suckers were 2' long!!

I swear!!
