Creekside Extravaganza 2010!

Aimee worked very hard this summer, organizing
her first horse show, which was held at our farm on
August 14.

There was a pretty good turnout, with about a
dozen participants, mostly from the Wpg area.

Peyton even entered in a few events with Skippy.
Here they are at the mail box.

We were lucky and had great weather that day.

Unfortunately for Aimee, Quinn stepped on a screw
that morning and couldn't be ridden in the show as
she had hoped. But she had Babe as her back up
and it worked out well.

Hell Has Frozen Over and Pigs Can Fly!!

Ok, maybe a slight exaggeration...however,
this is what I observed this morning, to my utter
shock. We had not asked Aimee to help get Peyton
dressed before school nor did we hear any screaming
about tangles and hair pulling. Wow. Truly Amazing.

Practicing Her Camera Faces

This is the kid that announced to Curt, "Hey Dad,
have you ever heard of Herbal Magic? You should
try it. You get a dollar for every pound you lose. Maybe
then you'd have enough to buy a new truck!" I don't
think Aimee and I have laughed that hard in a long time!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

I love this little guy! He is so brave and will do
anything I ask! I did have him in the house before
Curt took this pic, but backed him out in fear that
he may have a horse-sized accident.

All I Want For Christmas... (viewer discretion advised)

Peyton lost 2 teeth in 2 days this week. Thanks to
Cousin Charlie, the tooth fairy apparently pays a lot
more than she did when we were kids! And btw, unlike
her cousin, she thought the blood was pretty cool ;)

MCI Concert

On Thursday we went to Aimee's first Gr. 9 concert
at MCI. She was one of a few students chosen to
exhibit their art work. We were very proud of her!
