After Peyton's party was over, these two nuts stole

Peyton's 6th Birthday!

I know her birthday is only on November 18th, but

we wanted to do something different this year and

have the party at our place while the weather was

still nice. We celebrated with some school friends

on October 22 and couldn't have had more perfect

fall weather!

We started the party by playing some games and

having a scavenger hunt on the yard. It was a great

way for 9 five/six year olds to burn off some energy!

I think the kids were most excited for the pony rides

Peyton's favorite part, of course, was opening the

gifts.

Thanks to everyone for coming and making it a

great 6th birthday!

Halloween and Horses!

Happy Halloween, everyone! Peyton was very

excited to go trick-or-treating this evening. She

really wanted to wear this costume, even though

it gave her a wedgie.

Friday was costume day at school. Peyton was

a vampire witch. Can you tell?

On Saturday Aimee and I went to a Fall Fun horse

show in Sanford. It was snowing and bloody cold

when we got there at 9:30 am. Quinn did very well

for her - they placed 2nd in the tortoise walk, 4th in

the hare race and 6th in walk/trot/canter.

Puppies Have Arrived!

Early this morning Cleo went in to labor. Unfortunately,

this occured outside and 3 of the puppies didn't survive.

It would have been more, but thanks to Curt and Edna,

a blow dryer and a tractor, we have 6 healthy pups! I'll post

more on the puppy blog :)
