On Friday, the horses were loaded up in the
trailer and Aimee, Maggie and her mom
headed to Eriksdale for a 3 day clinic. It was
cold and blustery when they left Altona, but
this is what greeted them when they arrived at
their destination


Thankfully, the clinic was held indoors all weekend
and the horses had nice, cozy living quarters at
Bar K Ranch

were able to let the horses burn off some

After being cooped up in the corral all winter,

these two really needed to run and stretch
their legs

Royal Winter Fair

On Monday we went to the Winter Fair in
Brandon with Maggie and her mom, Deb.

In the afternoon we watched a Heavy Horse
demonstration. This Clydesdale was part of
the team that won the 6 horse tandem later in

the evening

Peyton's highlight was the Super Dogs show
that evening. And of course, the dalmation
was her favorite!

Quite impressive when the team went over a
jump while he was standing on their backs

Here, Peyton is showing off the Diego puzzle
she finished. These days she loves doing puzzles,
spelling and drawing.


In March we had her gymnastics 'recital' where
the kids could show off what they had learned.


The only thing Peyton liked about the balance
beam was being able to jump off the end

And of course, Ruby! I've lost track
of how much she weighs, but she is
bigger than Cleo and I can't carry

her anymore. She snores, farts and

likes to cuddle on the couch.

Spring is here!

I realize that my pictures are not in order, but,
oh well! These two have spent several hours
with their horses over the past few days...
enjoy!

The girls are limited with what they can do, so
they walk the horses up and down the hill by
the corral and past the barn.

Gyp is full of spring spunk. Need to burn some
of it off before he is ridden!
