Aimee and Amy

Aimee and Kristen

For Valentine's Day this year we went
out for supper and to a movie with
Shawn and Carole in Winnipeg. The
kids stayed at our place so the older
girls could babysit Peyton and Tyson.
It was a great day!

Let's Bowl!

Curt's been wanting a Wii ever since we played
it at Cheryl & Phil's. So when he saw them at
Target, he made sure to get one.

Even Aimee likes to play.

But Peyton's the best of us all, frequently
getting strikes.

And she rubs it in to everyone else

Cleo thinks we're playing fetch and keeps
trying to catch whatever it is we're throwing

A Weekend Away

Here are some pictures of the kids enjoying
the pool

Aimee and Maggie having a break

On Friday we went to Fargo to spend the
weekend at the Holiday Inn with friends.

Here's Peyton, showing off the bears she bought
with money from Grandma & Grandpa

Peyton and Jordan playing ping pong while
we wait for supper

Poor Wallace wasn't feeling well, but he still
managed to play hard

Being goofy before bed

Aimee and Maggie were great - they did lots
of shopping and helped out with the kids quite
a bit.

Peyton was very disappointed when she found
out we wouldn't be going to visit cousin Charlie
today. We compromised by giving him a call.

Their phone call lasted a whopping 10 minutes
and consisted of 4 year old chatter. After she
hung up, I said "Wow, you guys sure talked for
a long time!" to which she replied "Well, that's
because we love each other!".

On Jan 5 - after talking about it for
weeks - we decided that we'd paint the spare
bedroom and move Aimee into it.

A big reason for the move was this huge desk.
It's perfect to help keep all her craft and
scrapbooking stuff organized.

Curt even finished the closet. Wall to wall
shelves inside. Now she has no excuse for a
messy room!

We moved her old desk into the rec room. It's
already damaged from years of abuse, so it'll
be just fine for Peyton for the next few years!

And our main reason for the move...making the
largest bedroom in the house into a mini home
gym. We still have some stuff we want to add,
but it's great for those times when I'm too
busy to make it to the gym!

You probably can't tell from the picture, but
Ruby's grown a lot. 15 weeks and 28.5lbs - she's
almost doubled her weight in the 5 weeks
we've had her.

More pictures from Aimee's birthday. Much
to her dismay, the first day back to school
happened to be the same day.

She got tons of craft supplies from us... paints,
pastels, canvases, brushes, art paper, etc.

Lying on the floor watching tv. She's been sick
with the stomach flu for 2 weeks now...it just
keeps coming and going.
