Horses and Stuff

Aimee has been taking lessons from Dusty at Rocking W this summer.

She's even trying barrels, which much to her surprise, she enjoys.

In May we purchased Drifter from a ranch in ND.

She's 98% foundation bred, with a pedigree full of Blackburn,

Poco Bueno, Driftwood, Bert, Yellow Jacket, etc.  She's lined

up to go for training next spring in Saskatchewan, which I am very

excited about!

Back in April, I partcipated in a Glenn Stuart clinic in

Stonewall.  It was a fantastic learning experience.

Piper, now a yearling.  She's also scheduled to go for training in SK

next spring.

Summer Horse Shows!

 They did quite well.  I'm so proud of how much she has

accomplished with this mare in the last 2 years

 Peyton and Mia.  One day, hopefully, Mia will be

Peyton's horse when she's had enough rides under her.

 Completely fearless, Peyton took Mia in the 9 and under

trail class.  She even volunteered to go first, having barely glanced at

the course, lol!  Mia was patient as always.

End of Gr. 2

Peyton finished Gr 2 rather uneventfuly.  There was only the 1 trip to the Principal's Office, thankfully.  We'll reflect on the better moments.

In December, we 'compromised' and Curt got his very own bulldog.  Lol, joke is on him, I've always wanted one, but now he's the one who gets to clean up the pee and poo! LOL!!

It's Been A Long Time....

I realize it's been several months since my last post.  Nothing exciting has been happening, just life in general.  I transferred a bunch of pics from my phone to the computer, so I'll make some posts soon.
