Casey

Sadly, we had to find a new home for Ruby
a couple of weeks ago. I found an ad on
Pembina Valley Online for golden retriever
puppies. I went to take a look one day on
my lunch break and fell in love with Casey.

First day at her new home - 6 weeks old

Even Cleo loves her too

We still miss Ruby tons, but must admit
that it has been much easier to train a dog
that catches on quickly!

Dazzle

My percheron/quarter horse cross. He's 2 this
spring and a solid 15.2hh. I've been told by a couple
of people now that he'll most likely finish at 17hh!
I work a little bit with him every day, because as I
was recently told, "He's too big to be a dog!". He's
doing great and maybe I'll even be able to get him
under saddle this fall.

Bill will be expecting a litter soon

Columbus...silly cat that thinks its a dog

Rosie...poor kitty with her frozen ear...but she's
the only cat we've got that actually catches mice!

Spring Break with Cousin Charlie!

Charlie was able to come spend the last 2 days
of spring break at our place, and boy, did these
two play hard! We went for supper and to see
the movie 'Hop' on Friday night. The kids were
so excited to see each other, they only went to bed
around 1 am and were back up by 7!

Saturday was a beautiful day - no wind, +10, and
they spent the entire day outside playing in puddles.
Charlie learned what a 'booter' is and went through
3 changes of clothes by lunch.

We finished the evening with ice cream from The Hut
and they crashed hard by 9pm!

Plain, ordinary quarter horse...

Tada! Super-Quinn! Lol!

Ok, whatever...Aimee felt the need to buy this hood
thing for Quinn and I thought it appropriate to make
fun :p

The Food Network Has Taken Over My Home!

Fine...I guess I can't really complain...Aimee and Curt
LOVE to watch the food network. The result has been
that I seldom have to cook! Aside from too much cinnamon
on chicken and too much cayenne, they are definitely
improving their skill!

They recently went on a hunt for a pasta maker.
When we went to Albertville they were all sold out
and ironically, Curt found one right in town!

Making ravioli. It turned out pretty good, I must say,
especially considering I am not a pasta lover.

I forgot to take 'after' pics, sorry

Christmas 2010!

Ok...I'm a few months behind with my blogging, I admit it! (Partly because I've been busy, partly because Curt's new camera takes FOREVER to upload pics) We had a great Xmas this year because a) the first year I didn't have to work shift work and b) our house was liveable!

Our kids got spoiled rotten of course

Aimee loves her art supplies!

Peyton

Charlie

Lucy and Sabrina -- both so stinkin' cute!

Little baby Owen

Chloe hanging out with Grandpa

Last but not least...moi! (How can you tell Curt was behind the camera this year?)
