Three Friends

L to R: Aimee, Johanna and Maggie

Maggie and Miss Scarlett

It was only minus 2 and the dirt was not yet
frozen. Just a little ice to be wary of.

After and hour in the ring, it was time to call it
quits. Hopefully, there will be more days like
this, this winter!

Thanks Carrie!

Tonight we celebrated Peyton's birthday at
Rudy & Edna's.

Carrie was unable to attend, so she mailed
out Peyton's gift.

She loves it - finally, a doll that does not require
help from mom and dad to dress and undress.

Yes, this is our child. What? Doesn't every kid wear swimming goggles to bed?

This Old House

I came across these photos and had to put them in just for the heck of it. I have this grand idea of finding an old 2-storey house and renovating it. Found this one for sale way out by Tolstoi, built around the turn of the century. Curt humored me by agreeing to go check it out one day this past summer. Apparently it was still being lived in as recently as 10 yrs ago! We briefly went inside and heard this buzzing getting louder and louder. When we realized there were wasps living somewhere over/under the door, we got the heck out of there pretty fast. That's not even a project worth considering.

Aimee and Peyton

In October, we took the girls to Rhubarb Roots to have their annual photos taken. They did a great job! Aimee (12yrs 10mth) and Peyton (3yrs 11mth).

Our Home

This is our lovely home, which we want to sell. We've been thinking we'd like to find a little acreage just out of town where we can keep our horses and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Trick or Treat!

A New Friend

This fall Aimee met a new friend who moved to town during the summer. Together, the girls enjoy horseback riding, 4-H, scrapbooking and sleepovers with tons of laughs!

A Visit To Morden

Gail and Jason came out from Edmonton to see Mom and Dad's new house in September. It was nice to have everyone together.

Last Trail Ride Before the Snow Flies

We were invited to go on a trail ride (little did we know it was the last weekend before snow and cold) in early November. I couldn't go b/c I was working, but Aimee ended up going with Gyp. Apparently they all had a great time with a weiner roast after. Thanks Julie and Deb for all your help!

Miscellaneous Pics

There was a 2X8 plank left across
the ditch north of our house. Peyton
figured she could walk across it, just
like the big kids. Guess not.

Moving to Morden

Mom and Dad sold the family farm this summer to a young couple from Mather. They thought of moving to Cartwright or Crystal City, but my sisters and I pushed for them to move closer to the grandkids. What a huge move - Dad built the house back in 1980 and Mom had to sort through 28yrs of stuff (ie. junk). Anyways, they made the big move to Morden in September. I think they`ll love it!
